(written at 10 PM last night, but there were Server Issues)

so i went and found echostar today. it's kind of scary. big building in the middle of nowhere. gigantic parking lot. they won't let anyone in, even to the reception area, without an escort. (unless you've got a key and/or one of their badges, i guess.) i walked all the way around the building before i even *found* the reception area.

i tried to apply for a job. i mean, hey, it's money, right? but i just couldn't do it. i think what got me were the signs that proclaimed that the good parking spots were reserved for the people with the best attendance (some sort of award, i gather). and then the application included several questions along the lines of "are you willing to try and sell things to people?" and "how would you go about trying to sell more services?" and i couldn't do it. i refuse to give people the hard sell when they're calling for bloody tech support.

if i need money that badly i'll go back to sbarro in the fall. it won't get me a house, but life goes on.

in other news, ye booke liste hath been updated and made current.
