you know, earlier this week i was wondering what alex proyas (director of _The Crow_ and _Dark City_) was going to do for his next project.
and now i know.
this looks very, very cool.
in other news, Gold Rush Games has been having trouble with paypal. yay customer service.

...and i never did write up my impressions of the amber game on tuesday night. went well, i thought. a little better than the first session. i'll have to work up something interesting for the next couple of game-time days, but i've got vague ideas.
adam, the newbie, is actually doing more plotting and/or scheming than the rest of them. i am impressed.

i feel vaguely guilty. i just uninstalled Netscape Navigator 4. i've finally gone entirely over to the Dark Side of IE.

on the bright side, it only cost me about $100 to get Glyndwr fixed yesterday. as opposed to the $300 that South Main Auto was going to charge me. even if you factor in time lost from work (ha!) and gas, that's a savings of $160. go me. i highly, highly recommend Long Shop (down past Prices Fork) if you're in b-burg and need to get your car fixed. especially if it's more than about 5 yrs old.
