i've acquired a big long list of things to do when i have no job. in no particular order:

1. Clean my room.
2. Write _Dissolution_, the IF that I've been sort of vaguely plotting for the last six months.
3. Learn C so I can test out of the Intro to C class.
4. Write up the notes on my Amber campaign, and maybe get them published in Pyramid.
5. Play all those games I own and never got around to (like The Last Express).
6. Read, bag, and board all my comics. (I've finally got a complete set of Hellblazer, Transmetropolitan, and 100 Bullets again. Life is happy.)
7. Write some reviews of games, and maybe get _them_ published in Pyramid.
8. Play through _Hype_ and write a walkthrough for GameFAQS.
9. Get around to getting the light dinger on Glyndwr fixed.

i'm going to feel like such an idiot if i wind up getting a good job offer real fast. not that i'll be complaining all that much, mind you, but i'm kind of looking forward to taking care of my backlog of crap. maybe dubya should call for a National Week Off To Get The Nation's Shit Together. "I have this pile of mail on the desk of the Oval Office that I haven't looked at in a year. Plus I owe Mexico like a billion dollars."

_nine princes in amber_ could make a really kick-ass movie.

a very, very important item from my list:

9. Finally get around to plowing through my backlog of books, like Perez-Reverte's The Fencing Master, Pynchon's Mason & Dixon (picked that one up for $5... made my day), the Gormenghast trilogy, and The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay.
(Any others I should add to the queue?)
