...a day which will live in infamy...

my grandfather (father's father, the one i'm much less close to) was at normandy, but other than that i don't think i had any family involved in WWII.
thoughts? stories? family?

as tempting as it is to do a disc of Theme Songs and make people guess, it's a little late in the year at this point.

went out and bought Rayman 2 for the dreamcast last night, because a) it's a pretty good game and b) it came with a t-shirt, c) for fifteen bucks. also bought the Big Disc Of Genesis Games for ten, because it had Columns and Sega Swirl... the rest is just icing on the cake.

and now, off to have the optometrist do something useful with my contact.

verdict: the optometrist ordered me contacts that were too strong. for BOTH eyes, although the right eye was giving me way more problems. so my contacts will be here in a couple weeks. again. this is starting to really piss me off.

and i just realised that i'm probably going to have to use vacation time to compensate for the time i've spent going to and from the optometrist's office, because i won't be able to work late next week because i've got the Big Paper to write. rant rant rant.
