Brilliant.
Notes for new students written by the late Professor Gwyn Alf Williams.

In other news... went to see _The Importance of Being Earnest_ last night. it's a hard play to screw up, which is a good thing... the actors were for the most part so-so. i have a lot of respect for them for being basically their own stage crew, though. i may try to get in on their next play (which i imagine will be sometime in the spring).
i got a two-day extension on my next paper, which means i've got enough time to do crew for _Three Days of Rain_ with J. that'll be neat.
things for Shadowlake seem to be coming together.

English Coins Jokes:
The old 50p piece was known as a Wilson, because it was many sided and two-faced.

The £1 coin is known as a Thatcher, because it is thick, brassy and thinks it's a sovereign.

The 5p piece is known as a Major, because it is pointless, irritating, and you try to get rid of it as quickly as possible.

The new 50p piece is known as a Blair, because it is like the old one, but more lightweight.

The £2 coin is known as a Hague, because it is neither one thing nor the other and no-one will ever take it seriously.

(from Andrew Rilstone's Weak Jokes.)
Not that I expect anyone else to remember Harold Wilson... I only know who he was because of a book on MI5 I read awhile ago.
