Almost ready to move. In another few minutes Godot (my 'puter) will be once more severed from the network, and who knows when I'll be back online. I'll have sporadic email access for most of next week, and maybe cables will be run to the basement by the time I get back

To tide you over, I leave you with

History of the Internet: "World-Wide Web released by CERN. Group suggests someone invent a web browser so people can use it." (thanks [livejournal.com profile] jude)

Typing Monkeys Don't Write Shakespeare: "Eventually, monkeys Elmo, Gum, Heather, Holly, Mistletoe and Rowan produced five pages of text, composed primarily of the letter S. Later, the letters A, J, L and M crept in." (thanks [livejournal.com profile] ndkid)

And with that, I go. Goodnight Gracie.

gratuitous play quote!

"whaddaya got so far?"

"K. K K K K K K. K K K (stop it.) K K K K. K K K K (stop it! *smack*) K K. K K K K. K K, K."

"what's that? postmodernism?"

"Twenty lines of that. Then... i got stuck. In a rut. I felt as if i was repeating myself."

From David Ives to the TJ stage ('97) to my faulty memory to you. ;)
