jazzfishThere are things I'll miss about this place in two weeks. I'll miss the fog, and seeing groundhogs on the side of the road, and being within ten minutes of the mall.
Yeah, that's about it.
Things I won't miss include:
--the idiot upstairs, who leaves his alarm clock on when he goes away for the weekend. Two bloody hours of "rreep, rreep, rreep" starting at six in the morning. Although this is an improvement over the evil white dog who would occasionally bark for hours at a time.
--the guitar-playing asshole downstairs.
--the smell of damp cat pee after someone's taken a shower in the master bathroom, courtesy Joe the Asshole and his catbox from last year.
--the horrible carpet.
--the office bimbos.
--the generally shoddy construction, with such features as a lack of carpet padding, paint that stains if you so much as touch it, and no soundproofing between apartments (vertical or horizontal).
Fourteen more days. (And fifteen until I get to see David Bowie his own bad self in concert.)
Happy birthday Joanna. A little late, but still.
