jazzfishyeah, so we (emily, j., myself) tried to go to Abingdon last night to see a performace of macbeth. since j. got the tickets, i volunteered to drive. abingdon is right on the southern end of 81.
at mile marker 93, Glyndwr dies. engine light comes on, gas pedal stops working.
preliminary diagnosis is the distributor. another $400 i don't bloody have.
between this, the radiator, and the exhaust system *last* month, ordinarily i'd start questioning the integrity of my mechanic right about now. but it's been stuttering in cold weather since early march.
so we came home and went out to zeppoli's again for dinner, and then played Through the Desert, and it was good. and we'll try macbeth again today.
