Oct. 17th, 2001 03:50 pmfunagain is out of the little free silver robot for Ricochet Robot again. good timing on my part. (say thank you, adam.)
tonight will be spiel. meaning a break from writing my paper on Trouble on Triton. it's coming, but slowly. this may be the most difficult thing i've ever tried to write a paper on. the fact that it's been two years since the last time i tried to write a paper doesn't help any, either. (not counting the Alice paper, that is.)
stupid bloody irreproducible bug is driving me nuts. i hate those.
our next book in class will be Borderlands/La Frontera by gloria anzaldua. feminist chicana writer. from a perusal, roughly 20% of the book is in spanish. i am clearly not qualified to rant much about this book, since i haven't even attempted to read it yet, but i *will* pause to note that making a statement is only useful if the statement will be understood, and then move on.
this couple of months i am experiencing being poor, again. it's... intriguing. i find myself wondering how i ever managed to survive on what i made in fast food. (the answer, of course, is that i had fewer *expenses* then, too. but there's been a lifestyle shift as well.)
