Had folks over for games over the past weekend, which went well. Got to play a few old favourites, got to see some people I've not seen in awhile, got to feel like I was making good use of my space. I've missed having people over. It's rougher on me to host when I don't have a cohost, but not impossible. Gonna look into doing that more often, now that I have a space for it, I think.

Otherwise this week I'm feeling somewhat rundown. I suspect it's mostly a lack of sleep. My new mattress turned out to be firmer than I'd prefer, so I swapped it out for a softer one. I may have gone too far in the other direction. Hard to say. I'm also having trouble temperature-regulating at night, waking up either too cold or too warm. This was a problem in this bedroom last spring as well.

Too, it's been grey days off and on for awhile, which doesn't help matters. A couple of days ago I was feeling not unlike I recall feeling in, mm, 2013. Not ideal. I could do with a vacation. Good thing I've got one coming up. Heading for the Gathering tonight, followed in short order by a bunch of other travel/events, which will keep me occupied and entertained for the next monthish.

Overall I'm doing alright-to-well, except when I'm not, and I don't have a good sense for how well or poorly I'm managing the "not" parts. I'm musicking, and yoga-ing, and going to counseling, and occasionally getting some writing in. I think that's all for the good. I'm looking forward to the running-around for the next monthish.
