jazzfishBert is now zero for two. Kai is a female kitten.
In retrospect, I should have realized this. One of the few things I brought out of freshman bio is that a ridiculously high number (99.99% or so) of all tri-color cats are female, because it requires two X chromosomes or some such.
(sigh)
But Kai is an okay name for a female cat. I just need to find a better full name, I guess.
