What's worse than getting a root canal?

Between having an infection below the gumline and what I'm coming to believe is a natural resistance to dental anaesthetic, the dentist couldn't do the root canal today (although he did a decent amount of prepwork), and I'm going to have to go to an endodontist to have it done. Grr. This is _not_ a good time for me to take off work.
Oh well. The Saga Of Tucker's Teeth will all be over soon, and you won't have to read me whine about it anymore.
