Well, that was fast.

jazzfishI have an apartment. (Floorplan 1C.) It is ginormous, it is within walking distance of work and of a Safeway, it has a washer and dryer, and it is costing me only one arm and leg. Downsides include that it's on the first floor, the washer and dryer are "portable" (the washer wheels over to the sink for its water hookup), and I can't get in 'til the fifteenth. So, an extra week of living with my parents and having a real commute to work. These things happen.
Of course this means that Moving will occur that weekend. Probably Sunday the sixteenth, starting around eleven, for DC-area folks. (Come! Help! I'll feed you! Plus you get to curse my name as you haul thirty bankers' boxes of books from the truck to the apartment!)
(Genuine updates to come later today, as I have nothing to do this afternoon but sit around and write.)
