Real update coming once I get around to it; ideally later today. To tide you over, we have:

Xmas short form. My baby sister still sucks, I got a digital camera (which I haven't tried to hook up yet) and a GameCube (which gets mad points for style), sort of, and work sucks. Although it doesn't suck in Czech.

Which Science Fiction Writer Are You? According to my GM style, I appear to be Olaf Stapledon. (?)

If LotR Had Been Written By Someone Else: page seven has a very nice Good Omens parody.

LJ Awards.

And for [livejournal.com profile] jude, from Volume 36 of Zarf's Left Foot Living Review:

"The Hat of Eternal Surprise is worn by many of the more whimsical on the streets, these days. A simple bowler hat hangs exactly two inches over the wearer's head. There's a certain amount of give in the support field, so it flaps nicely in a strong breeze.

"But more: you can connect it to a neuroplug which monitors your emotional state. When you are gloomy, the hat sags; if something delights you, the hat springs high.

"The people wearing this hat are not always who you might expect."
