And, for more fun, Free Speech Support Down.
"Support for the First Amendment has eroded significantly since Sept. 11 and nearly half of Americans now think the constitutional amendment on free speech goes too far in the rights it guarantees, says a poll released Thursday."
I'm all for the idea that the First Amendment goes too far (they should have stopped at "Congress shall make no law"), but this is insane. Are people really this blind? Has no one read _1984_?
Blah rant blah football game blah shutting down parts of Blacksburg so that football traffic can run. If I still lived in Knollwood I wouldn't have been able to get home last night.
Picked up Blue Man Group's CD last week sometime. Bits of it (e.g. Rods and Cones, Opening Mandelbrot) are quite good. Other bits (Utne Wire Man) are kind of blah. I'm overall happy with it and will probably pick up their second CD when it comes out in February.
Been playing too much Moonbase Commander. Best twenty bucks I've spent in ages.
