Kelly's not smoking crack; Boromir was the bad guy in Goldeneye. (Sorry for making assumptions about your drug habits, Kelly-- I just thought he was too new an actor to have gotten something as cool as a Bond villain role.)

Watched the Big-Ass version of Fellowship last night. Good movie, good friends... good stuff. There's about thirty seconds with Aragorn acting evil right at the end of the movie (during his final scene with Frodo) that makes me much happier with his "I would have gone with you" speech. And, as Ross said, "They put in the beginnings of arguments, so that they make sense."
I still can't conceive of not experiencing it first on the big screen-- it just seemed so tiny for the first ten minutes or so.
Lothlorien still sucks, but it sucks less. And Gimli has more character now.
"Which way?" "Left" was good for a chuckle.
Making it fall off a cliff is a strange way of dealing with a beast with wings. Maybe Gandalf was using his magic to keep it from flying, which is why he fell, too.

Less than nine days to Towers, assuming there actually is a midnight showing in Roanoke. Otherwise slightly more than nine days.
